Progress!! Yes, option two does finally give me the illusive Addon file!! (thanks all)

So back the the zip file. Open the readme.txt and I get

* Copy the files inside the bin folder to your Blender install folder.
* Copy the PyPRP2 folder to your addons directory

Question 1 - what files in what bin folder???
Question 2 - What PyPRP2 folder??

If I unizip the PyPRP folder to a location, all I get is a load of files. There are no directories contained, just the contents of the zip file. What am I supposed to put what where???

Ok, so I create a folder called PyPRP2 and put everything in there and put into my addons directory. I look and I have the Plasma Development Enviroment option listed, but I can't click to enable it.

Anyone care to tell me what I can do with this???

Incidentally, I'm running XP (SP2)

There is clearly something wrong with the way you are extracting the files, or something wrong with your unzip program --

In the directory I've extracted the files to, I have a folder called "bin" a folder called "PyPRP2" and 3 text files "AUTHORS.txt" "COPYING.txt" and "README.txt"

In the folder called bin I have a bunch of files.

and the folder called PyPRP2 I have a folder called "mods" and a bunch of .py files.

In the folder called mods, I have a folder called "broken_unused" and a bunch of .py files

in the folder called broken_unused, I have three .py files

If this is not what you have... you need to figure out what is wrong with your unzip program, or the options you are using to unzip.

(Note: I am also running XP)

Thanks for all the help guys...

Looks like I had a bad setting in my zip extractor.

OK, Looks like i'm finally up and running. I just need to create something and see what it looks like.

If I want to add my age to my Uru CC, I understand I need to install the Offline KI?

Yes, Offline KI is required to be able to link to the age you exported.
I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.

I say "Pie Pee-Are-Pee", "Pie Pie", "Pie Cute" ;)
But the only part I know is "official" is the pronunciation of "Qt" as "Cute" >.>

Ah, I didn't know that. I assumed it was "Pie Cutie".

I've noticed a lot of developers seem to be reluctant to refer to their code as "Cute", so many will still say "Queue Tea" even if they know better... Probably the only one harder to get people to say is "Tcl/Tk", which I believe (not as sure about this one) is correctly pronounced "Tickle Talk"... I mean, who wants to go running around the office telling people they use tickle talk? XD
