I don't have huge amounts of time, but I'm willing to be involved when and where I can.
As an explanation - I work full-time as a software quality analyst, I write (I've got several short stories published), and when I can I play with creating Ages. Oh, and I have narcolepsy, so I'm rather tightly ...

Re: Unidirectional tiling in blender?
Thanks, Jojon and Aloys.
I'd hoped there was a way to set repeats in x or y to 0, but oh well. Now I know there isn't, I'll figure out how to make it work

Unidirectional tiling in blender?
So, I want to have a different texture at the base of a wall than the one at the top, and I want them to tile horizontally only. How do I get blender to do that? So far, I haven't had much luck with it.
(I'm using Ubuntu 9.10, Blender 2.49a)
Thanks!

Re: I lost PyPRP
Yeah, that did it.
I'm not quite sure what the heek blender's logic is for this, but copying the scripts from \kate\blender2_49b\.blender\scripts\PyPRP (where you'd EXPECT them to work running blender FROM that blender directory) to \kate\.blender\scripts\ worked.
I shall scratch my head in ...

Re: I lost PyPRP
No arguments there!
The \Blender 2_49b\.blender\scripts directory has PyPRP.
The "main" .blender directory (the one where \scripts is basically a redirect to \user\share\ doesn't. SHould I try dropping PyPRP in there?
What really mystifies me is that it worked. Once.
Honestly, you've got to ...

Re: I lost PyPRP
Hi Paradox.
I don't get any errors. If libHSPlasma shouldn't affect anything, is it possible I"ve got a confused Blender? (Ubuntu elderly repository version plus manually installed version entirely in one directory - which is the version with PyPRP)

A request: idiot's guides (or something similar)
Because this idiot has managed to lose the Blender PyPRP menus... (posted a begging message down in those forums).
It would be really nice to have some "complete idiot" guides - especially for the Guild-created tools. I'm working it out mostly by doing it wrong and having to come here and beg for ...

I lost PyPRP
My fault - I installed libHSPlasma while installing PlasmaShop - and now my PyPRP menus are gone (Blender 2.49b)
How do I get them back? I tried recopying the PyPRP directory into the .blender\script directory and refreshing menus, but that didn't work
