Try setting 'Affinity' to one core for the game execute.

A few possiblities to improve your connection if it can be improved.

Anytime the game stops unexpectedly by stack dump, BSOD, crash and or disconnect the game files will be fragmented. I always do a defrag afterwards to keep my end from bogging things down.

Try looking into TCP Optimization ...

Do not worry about it. We Myst fans like challenges and can figure out most anything.

My take is:

The command "/suitup" works in URU CC box version but does not work in the Steam version.

As a Myst fan the language barrier is one of the fun things conquer.

In some cases jumping off your Relto island and panic linking back to Relto and re-enter your Closet can clear up some stuff.
