Re: Can't start ULM - "No .Net framework"
Never mind. I just googled ".Net framework," figured out (kinda) what it is, and downloaded and installed .Net 3.5. ULM is working now.

Can't start ULM - "No .Net framework"
I've recently reinstalled Windows on my computer and am trying to get ULM up and running again. I downloaded the installer, but when I try to run it, I get an error message: "No .Net framework found. ULM needs .Net 2.0 to function." Then it goes on to install like normal, but when I try to open ULM ...

Re: Can more people join?
Is work being done on this project in another forum? Or is it being kept secret?

Re: Trying to export FuncChk
That was it, Andy. Right now the tutorial says "For now, the default sequence prefix of 100 is ok for a local testing Age, but when you want to release your Age, you will have to change this number to a unique one." To me this sounds like "when you want to release your Age to the general public ...

Re: Trying to export FuncChk
That was quick. I was just going to say that I went back to the readme and found what I needed. Pahts is working now but I still can't go to the tutorial age. UruFun was unable to locate the .sum file or something, although it was right there in the left panel.
Edit: Upon the second attempt, it ...

Re: Trying to export FuncChk
OK, I downloaded UruFun. Now what? I could play around with it but I don't want to mess up any files ... the readme doesn't really help me at all. Sorry to be so helpless.

Re: Trying to export FuncChk
I tried to load the tutorial Age for the "First Visit." Upon attempting to link from Relto, the screen goes black and I get an error message saying that files are corrupted. This is also what happens whenever I try to link to Ahra Pahts. I've asked before, and as far as I can tell it has something ...

Re: Trying to export FuncChk
I guess my main beef at the moment is that the wiki tutorials keep calling for Scripts > Add > PyPRP > "Add Default AlcScript," or "Add Default age fni settings," which are not options in the menu that pops up at that point. I'm sure it's something incredibly simple that I'm just not getting as a ...

Re: Trying to export FuncChk
So now I'm working on the "First Age" tutorial ... Pretty early it says to add a script to the cylinder to hide it later when exporting. I have done most of the Noob to Pro modelling tutorials but haven't seen anything about scripting; are there later tutorials that deal with adding scripts to ...

Re: Trying to export FuncChk
That did it! Without the last bit that is, like D'Lanor suggested.
Should there be a link to this thread from that page of the tutorial, at least until the tutorials are updated for the new plugin? Maybe it's just me, but I'd like to think that lots of new users might have the same problems I did.
