Re: Dedicated new & improved (?) KI thread.

It was a general question.

Though from discussions on various forums show people want to have a dragable scroll bar.

Me, I was hoping to do the mod that allows us to import and export marker games, but that has been offset by another small project i'd like to do at work, making a desktop gadget ...

Re: RealMYST Ages

Topic has ben adressed lots of times, and the answer is they are just too different, though if your keen enough you could try and do it yourself.

Re: Dedicated new & improved (?) KI thread.

So is that going to be your little project is it?

I've been reading throught the code, trying to geta a feel as to how to save and load marker games, getting to the game is easy enough, uploading one is worriesome, but dealing with getting the polar coordinates is where i'm at, seeing how Cyan ...

Re: Dedicated new & improved (?) KI thread.

Ok, justt thought that a class could be made that wouldn't rely on the game engine, my bad.

So what kind of bug fixes or enhancements do you think we could do with what we have?

I'm still fancy the idea of saving and loading marker games just like what we do with Jalak

Re: Dedicated new & improved (?) KI thread.

typically I would have thought that you create a new image then call that into the GUI, and have it extend or shorten depending on how long the list is

I suppose you could try and creater a new class for it.

Re: Dedicated new & improved (?) KI thread.

The video plays fine with VLC player.

Well Diafero (I think it was him) did the offline KI, so he and a few others know alot about how to code for it, so maybe the few immediate bugs and additions can be fixed.
From memory I think they are
when someone links in and the ki list is longer than the ...

Re: Dedicated new & improved (?) KI thread.

I agree, a redesign is needed to get out of the mess, though I am rather fond of of the pre beta design of the KI interface, and perhaps that could be a starting block or something completely different.

Re: Plasma Python API

I think what he was meaning is that the comments for the source code are there as opposed to there being no comments when decompiling the code from the pak.

Not that there is anything you didn't know already.

Re: Dedicated new & improved (?) KI thread.

Somone will shoot me for doing this

Considering Cyan has open sourced the KI, thought it'd be an idea to resurrect this thread :D
