THis is the first time I have tried to access Gehn.
It deletes the GlobalClothing_District_Female.prp file then crashes saying download failed.
I copy it back over from the URUlive folder and run Gehn again and I get the same result.

Re: FCA license panel: any Writer volunteers?
I just wanted to make a suggestions to pass around to the 3 groups. Think about having a group of 3, say the writters, that are voted in until they step down. Then another 3, say maintainers, that are voted in for say 5 months. Then the final group that is voted in for a year. With that system you ...

Re: Textures and such
I found this an interesting picture. It was a patch of asphalt. It's not seemlessly repeatable, yet, and will have a pattern to it but it still might work well for something since it really does not look like asphalt. There is a rather large and a medium version on the AH resource site.
If you ...

Re: Textures and such
I've managed to isolate a few coleus leaf bundles. If anyone can find a use for them feel free to use them. The photoshop version with them in different layers is on AH's FTP site.

Re: What about a texture exchange server?
The idea of a texture server sounds great. The cost sounds like the difficulty. Has anyone thought of, or is it even possible, to do them in P2P way. Many an MP3 has been downloaded in the past using this kinda database and no main server was needed to store all the stuff. Sure it may leave out many ...

Re: Textures and such
Yah I just keep replying to my own post! lol
I have finished the grass texture. If someone gets a chance to look at it let me know what you think. I have placed it over a 100x100 area repeated about 10 times. It actually seems to have the illusion of a wave or depth in the grass... but that just ...

Re: DuraBook 1.0 Linking book model (concept)
Sounds like a good idea and concept. I have to agree with the others that the missing cover part and the organic part might cause problems.
You could try a non organic plastic hinged cover that opens when a button is pressed and automatically closes after 30 seconds. It could be solar powered with ...

I have uploaded that pink flowered plant above to the Amber Horizons site. (large version)

I am also working on a grass texture that should look pretty good (2048x2048). I've mapped it over a large surface and have it repeating about ...

I went to the park yesterday and took some pics of interesting plant life. I then picked one and cleaned it up in Photoshop so it had a transparent background. After playing around with blender this weekend I have realized that I just won't have the time to help out in a big way with ages but I'd be ...
