Re: 3Ds or Blender?
I have only recently started reading up on some threads again after almost 4 years or so of agebuilding. I did know about the release of sourcecode and the 3DS Max plugin. From what I understand there are still quite a few people building ages. What is everone using right now? I was thinking about ...

Students version 3D Max?
Hi all,
I intend to pick up age writing again and while strolling the forum noticed many people using Max right now. Since Max is quite pricey I don't expect everyone to have bought a full license. Is there like a student version or something you are using? I remember there being something called ...

Re: 3DS Max 7 with Windows 7
Hi guys,
Where did you all get your 3DMax 7 version? Is there like a special edition that actually has an acceptable price? I fooled around with both the old Dos 3D Studio and versions of the first 2 Max editions in the days and would love to try the plugin on Max. I remember being able to do some ...

Re: Is this possible???
Is it possible to use bones in Blender, just to make animating easier? Would Blender automatically parent objects that are connected by bones? As long as PyPRP ignores the bones on export I assume (and that's probably wrong) that all parenting and IPO's are exported ok.
Wouldn't that make animating ...

Stunning Jonnee!
Talking about stairs.... how do you go about making bend? I made a blend file with a really long straight one which I adjust for different sizes. since bend stairs have different bends, do you have a suggestion for doing that the easy(iest) way?

Photoshop CS3/4 Extended 3D
Has anyone tried texturing features in PS CS3 or CS4 extended? I have PS CS3 ext installed but never used the 3D features. Looking at upgrading (mainly for photography purposes) I noticed adobe in CS4 having greatly improved on 3D features. I seems possible to import a certain nr of 3D formats ...

Re: Blender on Windows 7
Hmmm, not tried yet. I just upgraded my machine to a whooping i5 and 5850 card and installed WIndows 7 and Blender. Still waiting for memory replacement. Will try Blender on Friday. Hope this is not the case, because I intend to do some serious work in the upcoming weeks

Re: Role play
I'm in! Sounds like a great plan and fun to work on. Besides the story of the GoW it would be nice to be able to support substories of individual writers. Some kinda blog maybe.
