Re: Has anyone created part of the Cavern?

No, I meant what you said -- areas that are supposedly D'ni-made, that are in the Cavern but not connected to Ae'gura. I wanted to check them out. :D

Will check out Kaelis' Pub Office later, after I write up some minor things for you. *nodsnods*

Has anyone created part of the Cavern?

Hey all,

Just wondering -- I know that under RAWA's guidelines, it is possible for Writers to work on parts of the Cavern and other D'ni-related works, as long as they are not explicitly tied to Cyan's content.

My question is: has anyone done that so far?

3DS Max Plugins are available

(Not sure where this should go, and didn't see it immediately on scanning through the forums.)

Chogon has released the plugins. See above for details. (: Happy modeling!

Re: Help decide what should Cyan release next

Seriously, I'm just wondering -- why can we *not* get both the binaries and the source for the Plasma plugin? It seems natural to me to release both at the same time, so you can compare what the code says it does to how it actually works in practice.

Please, someone 'splain, 'cause I'm confused.

Re: Help decide what should Cyan release next

*raises a hand* I have a question. What does Cyan mean by "ancient version of 3DS Max"?

I have 3DS Max 8. I would love the binary, assuming it will run on 8. So, y'know, while everyone else wants source, I just want to get started NOW PLEASE.

But I'm also well-aware that most people don't have ...

Re: GoMa introduces Bugzilla bug tracking

That's a good question. My guess is that that's most likely the problem, since it doesn't use our standard login. I'm not an expert coder myself, but I'll bring it to Nynaveve's attention and see if we can get it fixed.

Thanks for letting me know!

Edit: Wait -- no, I misread what you said. When ...

Bugzilla (on the Writers end!)

First off: the anatomy of a Bugzilla bug report.
BugzillaBugReport.jpg

The bug report shows a general summary, the bug number, what component is affected, what hardware and OS is being used, the status and resolution, the priority, and the severity of the bug. It ...

GoMa introduces Bugzilla bug tracking

Shorah, Guild of Writers!

We over at the Guild of Maintainers are moving our bug recording technology from our forums to a Bugzilla database. We would like to extend an invitation to come over and get in on the action! Bugzilla's pretty cool -- it allows for easy bug recording, prioritizing your ...
