I remember a similar tool being used at "Camp Hyrule" (an old Nintendo event sanctioned by Nintendo of America) for some of their "Campfire Chats."
What would happen is, people would ask one question upon entering, and no one else can talk except the moderator and the person being a guest at the ...

Dev Age 2
I'm working on a small Age, though I feel solid in both its concepts and its foundation in terms of functionability.
The Basics:
The Age is still unnamed (can't think of something that fits atm) but it's a rest Age. The story behind it is that the Age was one of many rest Ages that might have been ...

Holy heck I've been gone a long time O-o
Sorry for my absense guys, after my Uru CC fallout I kinda lost interest in Myst for a while.
I found a new CD to buy tho, so I should have things up and running again. Guild's been busy, as I've seen from a few things in the Gen Discussion forums.

Re: The Nexus: Where Is It?
Yeah Nexus is its own Age, it has another area that is refered to as the Lattice (tracks KI movements and other such things). whether it is just a single room or many rooms that rotate remains to be seen (I suspect the former). The D'ni would check every now and then to make sure no one had gotten ...

Re: The Nexus: Where Is It?
I sort of imagined a giant mechanism that rested in D'ni. If the link was too far away, damage to Ages/the Cavern would prevent movement.
I actually thought that Nexus was either on or near Ae'gura. Would make sense, as all the major links are to the City Minor.
That and private Ages... but it ...

Re: The Nexus: Where Is It?
It's alright to mistake it, but it's already been proven that you can link to an Age from WITHIN the same Age (ex. Relto) so that's been disproven...
As far as I know, I "think" Nexus is an enormous machine that either A) sits somewhere in D'ni or B) rests within the Star Fissure... if I'm correct ...

Dude, my brother was gunna build me a new desktop computer next year too.
This is sweet, he's splurging to make up for 2 birthdays he missed while he was in college. This means I'm gunna have a top-o'-the-line computer now.
Woot!

Welcome to the Party! Beer's in the fridge
But yeah, I understand what you mean by not wanting to re-learn Blender. Would be so much easier to have a program like GTKRadiant that i know backwards and forwards and just import to Blender.
Sadly, can't be done with GTK. So I'm stuck :S
