Not the prettiest of blends, but it's just a test. Great to have another tool in my kit. Thanks again for all the help!

For those interested, this is done by setting up a stencil just like the tutorials in the wiki explain, but loading in the 64x4 ...

Re: Chamassa

Mmph. Rather than going through all of that, try building a super-simple Age (as in, a single flat plane with collision) and see if you can get a book working there. Perhaps we can identify the problem that way.

Re: Ideas culled from Cyan's Plugin

One thing that really bothers me about Alcscript is how few of Plasma's features it covers. It seems to me that converting Alcscript to Plasma objects is about as awkward as the whole Blender -> 3DSMax/Plasma conversion issue. Something key for me in a new system would be broader coverage of Plasma ...

Re: Ideas culled from Cyan's Plugin

I hear you on the whitespace issue - it looks messy, it's hard to share, and it restricts formatting style. I definitely prefer the commonly-used curly-brace { } method of denoting blocks.

It would also be nice if we could avoid requiring users to install multiple Python libraries. Though I suppose ...

Re: Cyan-style blends?

Aha! Now that's what I was looking for! I had a feeling that Cyan was doing this with vertex paint or something... interesting that Blender doesn't support this method.

Note that the resulting uv map may look a bit funny (banded/over-repeated) in blender's real-time textured view, but it will ...

Re: Cyan-style blends?

Hm, so nothing fancier than dragging the UVs around, huh? I ask because the imports of Cyan Ages have some crazy complicated UV maps on some of the blends (Relto, for instance).

I also seem to have lost track of where (or if) vertex painting fits into this technique. My current test plane doesn't ...

Re: Ideas culled from Cyan's Plugin

We could include a small PRC pane in the plugin so you're able to use every feature of libHSPlasma even if it doesn't have a GUI or you don't want to use the GUI.
As in, we could edit the PRC XML stuff right there in Blender? 'Cause that would be totally awesome!

As for linking objects together ...

Re: Re-envisioning Uru, musically!

I think we should have a song that represents what the Bahro have gone through ever sine their introduction to the Myst universe. however instead of using words we shall use musical notes.

Just an idea.
I like this idea. It would be interesting to establish some musical themes that could be used ...

I think the idea is that we could use a "Save" function first, no? ;)

Re: Cyan-style blends?

Alright, I think I'm getting this...

I can get to this point:

...without trouble. But how to I turn this into a non-linear blend? Do I need to drag the UVs around on the map, or is there a nicer way to visualize this?
