Actually, it would be entirely possible to try to write a descriptive book for Garternay, as the DRC D'ni FAQ makes clear:
The manuscripts state that the D’ni believed that when the writer of an Age describes the Age, the Age is not actually created, but a link is established to a preexisting Age ...

Just to drag this discussion totally away from the OP's Lament, copyrights can be stolen, in that I could substitute my name for yours in whatever system tracks copyright ownership. In that case, I would be a thief, as I would have taken possession of your property, and you would no longer have it ...

Re: Guild System of In-Game New Games Content
In many ways, this whole Guild thing has really confoozled some potentially good projects such as Jahmen's. Instead of labeling the various groups Guild of This and Guild of That, suppose Jahmen had simply proposed having various groups - The Club of Game Testers, etc. - fill the various roles ...

Re: Rand's visit and news for Age Creators
Apologies for further depressing you, Aloys, but I think it is telling that Cyan's latest outreach to the community was to allow a small set of fanz access to the MOULagain server to drum up IC chatter prior to the MOULagain launch. You can tell who many of them are by perusing the KI list in this ...

Re: RAWA is our new community manager
Careful Zardoz, this isn't the MOUL forums. Sure we are having a minor scuffle here, but this place is not home to the annoyances that thrive on the MOUL forums instability. You may actually get some intelligent replies here.

Re: RAWA is our new community manager
I would suggest that we view RAWA as a messenger, and that we adopt the credo, Don't Shoot the Messenger. RAWA cannot provide answers he does not have, and so asking the right question will be important. A question such as, On what date will Open Source begin? is a stupid question to ask RAWA ...
