Re: Serving MOUL Peer To Peer

Alcugs was the first step to get a p2p architecture... but that step was never finished.

Plasma at current state it's useless, and a new client needs to be obviously written adapted to the current technologies and not what we had 5 years ago where Cyan is still stuck.

I was reticent to say it ...

Re: KI Types?

That thing deleted all of my fan ages. Do you think I'm going to recommend it?
Almlys == paranoid

Thus, run it on a clean PotS install.

Anyone with any inch of brain could've figured out that brain buster.
A whole inch?

At the time, I didn't know Almlys was so into destroying peoples lives ...

Re: Contingency plan

I know that you guys want to assemble your own engine/toolset etc, and don't want to heard anything about Alcugs/7d7 again.

But, I desperately need testing material for 7d7 .

So, for curiosity if there is anybody interested in seeing how their age/work/world looks under 7d7, please let me know ...

Re: GoW PyPRP - Some clarity regarding the fork from Alcugs

I don't know much about other people, but I do like to try and read what the plugin was doing, old (18 months+ ago) versus, the output interface for debugging purposes now, now is a lot easier to read, and like all debugging output, if its easier to read, its easier to maintain the physical code ...

Re: GoW PyPRP - Some clarity regarding the fork from Alcugs

Not to get mixed up in this little domain squabble, but I figured a misunderstanding should be corrected. I should point out that the English meaning of that sentence ("We take Almlys total absence from PyPRP development ( aside from forum maintenance) as a sign that he has lost interest in Uru ...

Do not work anymore.
neither does svn update on an already downloaded code.

Re: GoW PyPRP - Some clarity regarding the fork from Alcugs

Ok, let's go again and again, and again...

Forking
Basically a fork is a branch in the development process. A project is forked when a group of developers want to go down a different path and implement new features in a different way than the original authors of the software.

The difference ...

Re: Almlys situation

As a End User of the tools (and I'm talking about Uru tools as a whole, not only PyPRP) the less tools the better. For many reasons: most end users don't want to bother learning several tools. They don't want to have one function in a tool, and an another in another tool. They want one single tool ...

Re: Almlys situation

This is a response to this thread , I don't have permissions to reply to that thread, and I don't know if I should have permissions to see that forum area.
But I think that in some way or another I need to write some type of reply, and since nobody reads Alcugs anymore, I suppose that this is the ...
