Re: My Opinion on the Relto Book

Yeesha would have to bo making perfect copies at an outrageous rate.

Wait, no she wouldn't! She could write an Age in which there are thousands of Relto books...and just link in and grab one whenever a new explorer comes along. Genius!

How can one access these ages if MOUL was not installed? Are they available for download somewhere?

Re: What exactly is the Offline KI?

Thanks, Chacal.

I've never had the pleasure of playing any of the on-line manifestations of uru, so I don't know what the on-line KI does. More than take pictures, I hope.. I'll experiment once I get one. I like experimenting. :geek:

What exactly is the Offline KI?

I used Drizzle to install Offline KI, Official No-CD Patch and Ahra Pahts today ( just itching to see Ahra ). When I logged in, I noticed a new "button" on the small pop-up thing at the bottom of the screen. The new button says

Re: Drizzle20 (includes UruAgeManager)

SourceForge was being a royal pain in the neck the other day when I tried to download Drizzle20 from the project page. The direct link to the jar file works perfectly.

I don't like how hard sourceforge is getting to use...

Re: Journal/linkingbook file generator

Yep. Very doable. I may even whip one up myself ( once I figure out how journals work ), but I know very little Python so it would be made with some other language.

Re: Yaml not recognized

Thanks D'Lanor - I was just on Cyan Chat and Paradox offered a solution for Blender 2.49a.

Basically just install Yaml and PIL for python 2.6 and you're good to go. The different versions of the libs can be found on the download pages:
PyYAML
PIL

Create New Book works now!

Thanks Paradox!

Re: Introduce Yourself

Hi! I'm Dragonwing.

I'm a gamer, programmer of limited experience, and all-around geek. I like dragons.

I've been playing Myst games since before Riven ( although I was too young to actually solve anything about it ). Been playing Uru with long periods of playing and not-playing since forever. I ...

Yaml not recognized

After following these instructions , I got Blender and PyPRP all installed and set up. Upon attempting to create a new book ( Scripts->Add->PyPRP->New Book ), Blender gives me this error:

ImportError: no module named yaml

I ran the yaml installer at least 3 times, rebooted once, and I still get ...
