Not really well known here, mostly a lurker slowly getting into the age making thing, so my view probably is out of line, but...

When those in charge start using public assets to engage in a personal vendetta, perhaps it's time those in charge no longer be in charge.

AMD Athon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800 (2CPUs), ~2.0Ghz

Not the best, but the worst either. The normal content for Uru always runs fine for me even at full detail. Only this and one other fan age (latest Tvel) gives me problems so far.

Opps lol, was tired last night and didn't think, just went with what dxdiag showed, its actually a 512 MB card with some normal ram dedicated to video. (Have 4 gigs RAM).

The pause is still there, but it is noticeably shorter, to the point of almost not being there, almost.

My Graphics Card:

Radeon x1300/x1550 Series
Approx Memory Size: 1661 MB
Driver Date: 6/3/2008

For me there is definitely a pause while moving. It doesn't feel like the normal sluggish feeling, it's a walk for a second, freeze completely, walk for a second, freeze completely. And it only happens while the camera is moving. Far as I know, it didn't do this before the current update.
