Re: PyPRP Importer now on Github
Thank you Sirius.
You are probably right. I probably did put the files there in stead of the whole folder.
The wiki is not specfic about this step.
But I wont be able to check on this for another ten days or so.

Re: PyPRP Importer now on Github
Sorry to ask a noobie-question.
I read the Wiki page, got the colection of .py files copied into my /scripts folder, and restarted Blender. (I think that's what your supposed to do, wiki doesn't say)
But I still don't see any other import options to handle .prp files.
Is there some step I missed ...

Re: Escher's Relativity is doable
Here's the 2006 version FBX plug-in for Max 7.
Zipfile inside a zipfile, read Installnotes.txt.
Hope that works for you, .fbx is a very helpful file transfer method.

Re: Escher's Relativity is doable
Really? If you go to File/Import.../ then doesn't the pull-up in that panel's bottom right corner offer an option that says Autodesk (*.FBX, *.DAE) ???I don't think FBX is not supported by Max 7 or at least not my version

That’s because the full model is made of 300,000 faces, over half a million triangles.
Every step is seriously rounded, the step corners alone are 27 faces each. Each banister support has about 600 faces. This guy ...

Re: What about a texture exchange server?
So I'm asking you for your opinion: Should we stick to the "common practice" search syntax logic which is used by most websites or search engines,
or should we try to make is this time a bit more intuitive (and IMHO more user-friendly)?
My personal opinion is that most of us are more than familiar ...

Re: What about a texture exchange server?
Do not forget to tell us, at the Guild of Messengers , when the textures will be available for download. It will be our pleasure to pass this great news around to the maximum of gamers available through our news network.
