I suppose I can wait I've just heard about the server thing from Cyan which sounds cool but from what I have heard from my cousin (who works at Cyan) they may not be able to fund this. Just something to keep in mind.
I'm not sure what Cyan would need to fund, they're open sourcing the code so that ...

Re: MOUL Age expansion
I think the only fully legal way would be to wait until cyan opens up that data server they promised, and get the files from there.
And if you can wait that long, you might as well wait a little longer (hours/days/week) until some one gets a server up and you won't have to worry about adding them ...

Re: Uru is OURS
Just had a quick thought while reading your last post GPN:
(Please keep in mind that I am the definition of "technically challenged" as far as coding/servers goes )
What about the Guild of Books for maintaining the servers and the Guild of Ink Makers for other technical things (KI, Nexus interface ...

Re: Intellectual Property VS Story/Continuity with MORE
You are very correct in this. Even if someone creates a new "Hood" it has to look consistant with how the walls of the cavern looks, the lake, at the minimum.
Except that RAWA has already stated that they're leaning towards disallowing views of the lake, city, arch, lagoon(ie. Cyan created ...

Re: Intellectual Property VS Story/Continuity with MORE
They do have an Asset Request Form, to get permission to use their IP. The guidelines appear to be geared towards websites, but I would think they could adjust them to include stuff added to their own game.

Re: A Question of NPC's
Not sure if this helps or not, but either RAWA or Chogon (I think Chogon) mentioned releasing "something" so that fans could create their own emotes. Would that be any help?

Re: FCAL Proposal Announced at GoMe
If I have a project that involves an age, a storyline, characters, possible encroachment on Cyan's story, and let's say I don't know which thing I do will actually encroach, where would I go to start the process of getting permissions/license to even begin this project? Let's say for argument's ...

Re: FCAL Proposal Announced at GoMe
About the proposed FCAL: I see many problems in it but they aren't about "Writers vs Maintainers". Although I understand this may be a concern for some, I believe checks and balances can be put in place that will ensure fair representation. I have one concern about the Maintainers and it isn't ...
