Re: My Age Project - Llantern
I don't have anything to contribute in terms of technical problems, but I can honestly say that this age is looking fantastic, and I see amazing potential. The lighting is beautiful, the texturing for the most part looks excellent, and the trees are so real, I could swear your cut and pasted them ...

Good progress! I'm loving the sky texture so far! Do you plan on making it move?

Hello Irene! It's good to see you. Again.
I hope you can find your creative voice here, and look forward to seeing your pieces. Do you by any chance have a DA account?

Re: About Tyion
Heh, I love sockpuppet drama
(Though it's *possible* kahinj was his brother, say, but whatever.)
Still, he never really did anything very bad. Flaming the GoW? Meh, even mystonline.com doesn't ban for flaming them. As annoying as people using sockpuppets is, especially to bolster their point of ...

Re: Fire Tower Age (new at this)
Well, again, these are free objects I downloaded just to flush out ideas. I actually have some thoughts of what I want the furniture to look like. I have an idea of half D'ni and half Romanitc furniture with colors of a study (Reds with highlights of greens and yellows. think K'veer). As you can ...

Re: Subterranean Restorations needs Concept Artists
Is professional experience required, or would freelance artwork be allowed? If the latter is possible, I'd be very interested in helping out.

Re: Fire Tower Age (new at this)
I like how this is coming along. However, are you intending to pass this age off as authentically D'ni? I mean, you're restricted by what canon allows, but you can still write it as it would've appeared in D'ni culture. If that is the case, I would recommend editing your furniture models because the ...

Re: Fire Tower Age (new at this)
No need to make the circles smaller - just make them pointy (maybe a leaf shape) and say that they were originally the spouts, from which the water fell from each tier. (I am assuming this is exactly what you had in mind, actually.)
That's an interesting idea actually; reminds me of the gargoyle ...

Re: Fire Tower Age (new at this)
I really like the structuring of the building. The shape of the tiers is very D'ni. I'm not quite sure if the rounded telescope platforms are really working for the model, however. Wouldn't it be easier to make them simply stand on the corners rather than jut out?
