Re: PyPRP Normal Map Support

Did you use urusum, UruFun, PlasmaShop, etc. to update the .sum file after making the PRC changes? Uru uses the .sum file to keep track of modified files and will give you that corrupt files error if they don't match.

No, I only used PrpShop. So maybe thats the problem I am having, I'll poke ...

Re: First Age Release: Spiro

Nice age. Oh, and the water is black here too. Should it be blue? (I was under the assumption there is no water around).

Yeah, I haven't added a Water Plane or anything to the Age yet. I want to use the Waveset Technique so that Uru will animate the water for me and I can add a little "shore ...

Re: First Age Release: Spiro

Hey Guys,

I just tweaked my lighting & specular maps a bit and released Version 2. The rock & cliff should still be nice & reflective, but the grass & sand should be significantly less reflective. There will still be patches of grass & sand which seem shiny, due to direct sunlight, but I think they ...

Re: PyPRP Normal Map Support

I made a first attempt at getting my Normal Map to work with no success. When I tried to load the Age in Uru I got an error saying that Game Files were missing and to try re-installing Uru.

The process I used on this attempt:
- Export the little rainbow texture used on the Bump Map Layers to a .po ...

Re: First Age Release: Spiro

I tried to download it from your personal server, but with no luck.

Any idea what is wrong?

hhhhmmmm..... Very strange. I can see the Uru Ages folder on my server just fine from my end, both inside & outside my network. If you are still having problems I have a web-interface into the FTP running ...

Re: SkyDome Lighting

Thanks tachzusamm. I am using Blender and the Skydome is a half-sphere. I already have some of those settings set, but others (like Step A) are not. I'll try out your changes later today.

I had to solve my problem yesterday though, since I actually made the Age as a final project in my Interactive ...

SkyDome Lighting

Hey Guys,

I'm trying to put the finishing touches on my initial prototype before diving into some of the more advanced stuff. The main problem I'm having now is that my SkyDome isn't being lit properly and sections of it come out entirely black. Anyone have any advice for me on this?

Thanks,

Jman

Re: PyPRP Normal Map Support

Where can I get the AGE & PRP files for Eder Kemo? Isn't that age only available in MOUL? I checked the dat folder for my MOUL installation, but only found EderKemo Loc files. I seem to have AGE files for all the other ages I've been to though.

Anyone clear this up for me?

Re: PyPRP Normal Map Support

Damn it! .... Damn it, damn it, damn it! I spent so long sculpting all the little details on my island so that they would come through on the normal map. Like a whole week just on my High-poly model. Plus I created Normal maps for all my textures to add even more detail. I guess I'm ganna have to ...
