Re: Where's the Airstream?

A lot of those pictures looked like they could have come straight out of URU, and the one with the volcano in New Mexico must have been an inspiration for the Cleft.

Re: Concept/Puzzle Designer For Hire

Sorry, I misunderstood you. And I wanted to try to convince the others that a Puzzles Forum is a good idea :)

Re: Concept/Puzzle Designer For Hire

To "storytellers" should go stories.
To "Artist" should go concept art.

If You just have a description of a idea of a puzzle- then "probably" storytellers might fit.
If got a concept art for such idea then "Artist" could be better.

Re: Concept/Puzzle Designer For Hire

That's the thing: I'm not telling stories, I'm describing things that fit in with stories that other people tell. I'm also not an artist, and I'm certainly not a builder. I have theories on what works well in puzzles, too, and that doesn't fit in with storytelling or building or art. So please ...

Re: Concept/Puzzle Designer For Hire

Good idea, since the sort of thing I can help with doesn't fit anywhere. Also, see my post "A few ideas" because I'm worried that the great ideas that the forum members came up with there will go to waste because there's no dedicated concept/puzzle section.

Re: Concept/Puzzle Designer For Hire

If you need any input but don't want to say it in public (why would you want to release your ideas before you finish the age?) then the best way to reach me is via email at silver40596@yahoo.com. Just let me know when and if you want help with something or need some ideas.

Concept/Puzzle Designer For Hire

If anyone needs help creating puzzles or figuring out concepts to include in their projects, just let me know. You can read through some of my thoughts in the thread "A few ideas." I posted this in general discussion because I'm not a builder, storyteller, artist or musician...

Re: A few ideas

But what I mean is, how can we spread these ideas so that people making projects will know about it? It's no good if the stuff Gehn and I discussed here just stagnates without anyone hearing about it...

Re: A few ideas

Now that we've come up with a bunch of good ideas, how can we spread them to others? I'm no good with technology, so I won't be learning Blender or 3DMax anytime soon. But I think some people might like to work these concepts into their projects. What do we do now?

Re: A few ideas

It would make an awesome reward for getting through an Age - being able to control random tricks like that (hidden speakers, imager illusions, fog machines...). It would work best in some kind of illusion based Age, I think, and would make sense in a training area.
The solution might be to work ...
