Is there a good reason why you are making much more than necessary to set up a basic Shard? There is no need to set up a full-blown dataserver, and you can even leave away most of the authdata stuff as the internal client can load ...

Diafero, the wiki page was inclusive of age builders and writers. What it ended up being is what programmers do best, they take out the stuff that is obvious to them and ASSUME that people know this stuff, that is the reason is why it was so explicit in the details.

That is vague. Do you have some reservation to folk building 100% original content shards? I dont see how there can be lots of Cyan "content clones" out there and that it will keep the fan base alive. It makes shards pointless, because once you have visited one, you dont want to visit another ...
