Wouldn't it be better for all of us if the guild of writers front page didn't look like it hasn't been touched for the last 2 years? maybe some updates on whats really going on in uru and age writing would be a good thing to put up, or perhaps about how the carven is open over at Myst online, or ...

I have recently installed java in windows 7, I have uru cc, and I have Java installed and patched, and every time I try to run Drizzle with the Java binarys application, it will not start and gives me this error in a dos prompt.

Having to hand type it so im not sure if its perfect but...

So, any news about how this programs doing?

and if its going nowhere... maybe someone could take over the project?

Sorry for any confusion, no it only gives me the admin rights message when using urusetup.exe to launch uru.

Uru.exe doesnt seem to work, so I am having to launch though urusetup.exe

Update: Ok well windows 7 with steam install of uru CC works fine, some info about it, you can even run it without starting steam but you have to use the urusetup file to get into it. However, it will give you an error saying "You're starting uru with admin rights" or something like that, it however ...

Im so confused, so which shard is better / more popluar?

I'm invested in the DI shard at the momment, I wasn't aware there was even another shard, I have seen quite a bit of traffic in the DI shard today though...

Is the city like in MO:ULa or is it just my instance?

Also, because theres no instance 'hoods, I assume that everyone just piles into the one 'hood that is DI's hood?

Ok, time for a "Steam-Uru-Deep Island Shard" Update:

Uru CC finished downloading on steam, Making a backup of the game was the first thing I did, steamapps/common/uru cc/

I took the entire directory, and put it in a backup directory elsewhere on my C:\ Drive.

Then, I copied the uru di-patcher ...
