Time to re-convert, and convert MagiQuest for the first time... There are a few familiar filenames in the dat folder too...

Out of random curiosity, was the /updateshelf causing issues online or something? I'm quite pained to see it go, it let me see which Ages had been recently updated. Any way to add a sort by last updated option to the Nexus?

Myst V, CT, and MagiQuest require converting through Drizzle to work. You should be able to use the same conversion as you do for the offline version and have it work. (or that's how I remember it at least)

I think if you link to an Age that doesn't exist Uru just shows a black screen with no progress bars. I know I've seen that when I've mistyped Age names in /link. Maybe that's what it does offline? I am quite sure I once saw that pink screen age, and I could even link out of it. Uru just had ...

Odd, I have Windows 7 and have no problem with the Direbo or Myst V books, even with the files Wolle mentioned in my avi folder... (unless this crash was recently introduced with Drizzle 24 or 25)
Probably tomorrow evening I'll re-install Myst V (finally) and re-convert, see if the same thing ...

Anyone know if the free trial of MQO downloads all the files (save for the Python, if it follows the same pattern as MOUL)for the game?

And on a different thought, I wonder how many of the online players also play Uru...

Time to load up Uru again... This is one Age that needs to get put in MOUL:a (possibly expanded if possible if fans want to contribute), provided it doesn't completely destroy the servers.

Hm... Maybe MystV's version is a point in the far future, or an alternate Myst? The Kadish vault seems to show that time-travel is possible with Linking (or it's a different vault in a different Age...) I know the canon would go to say that the Myst book is the same one you use at the end of the ...

Interesting things with the Python files... Anyone know why the cleft ending credits (I'd assume these were what would play after completing ABM, before To D'ni and POTS came out) are still in the python files? Last time I checked, they aren't used anymore...
