I don't think we should limit the style of the back story for this first contest. I think it is awesome that you detailed the four basic ways to experience an age. I think it would be interesting to see how some people approach it with one way or multiple ways.

Trylon, are you the semi-official leader of this contest? (OK by me!) If so, I would suggest the following:
Pick a panel of judges, based on whatever criteria you feel is best. Include yourself as a judge. Once that is done, the judges can hash out the details of the contest, final approval made by ...

Wonderful idea, I'm glad to see this. The creation of a successful age always needs a good backstory. I would be interested in judging some entries.
