I always like concepts that hark back to Myst concepts. I like this and I don't think anything tricky needs to be done to explain the lack of inhabitants. Ages like Stoneship and Mechanical could easily still have civilizations living far from the area the player has access to.

As a member of the DLF, I'd love a more IC approach to Writing. I use Reason 4 for synth/samples and Sony Acid for mixing and recording. I've never used Garageband though so I'm not sure when it comes to similarities.

I've been using the red/black since the beginning, it's good stuff. When Kirel opened I was pretty excited to see our colors were red and black.. they make a fantastic two color combination and they've always been my favorite.
