Re: Can anyone provide me some good Blender tutorials!

Here's a good tutorial that helped me get started using Blender 3 years ago, I still use it now and then. Also Dendwaler's tutorials are very helpful for understanding texturing once you learn the basics. The tutorial below will help you achieve that.

Re: New Ages On The Horizon

Many thanks to you all, you're very kind. I can't say too much about these ages but as for the ship, it's a long voyage! Janaba, actually my name is Jaruku but there was a screw up in 2011 when I joined and forgot to fix it. Thanks again for your support.

New Ages On The Horizon

Mysterious places will soon be revealed but they must pass the testing phase first. Feel free to scrutinize this preview and wonder where this will end up. I can say it is a long, long journey. Released by The NAP (The New Age Project)...

Re: A Problem with Multiple Subworlds

Jojon, I had that physical code in there and later realized that I had left out the click region. It finally works...live and learn. Thanks for your help, it's much appreciated.

Re: A Problem with Multiple Subworlds

Now I have another question, I put a click region in the subworld to open a door but the door button is not clickable. It works fine on the outside but not in the sub.
I parented those regions to the subworld and nothing. Does anyone have a clue?

Re: A Problem with Multiple Subworlds

"be sure that the materials you use are "single user"
Or at least are only shared inside one subworld.
I can not explain it, (its not rational) its only a feeling i have from experience with something else."

I solved the problem! Since it turned out that it wasn't a texture being shared, it had to ...

Re: A Problem with Multiple Subworlds

The second subworld has an object which has a special texture which is single user texture not shared so it can't be that. The object names in the subworlds are unique to that world. It's got to be something simple, perhaps the alcscript would be the problem so I'm at a loss

A Problem with Multiple Subworlds

I made a subworld for my age and after numerous problems, got it to work smooth with no glitches. When I added a second subworld, it worked flawlessly however the first one stopped working. Both are completely separate from each other. I'm using Blender 2.49, Drizzle, Chronicles and pyprp 1.6. Does ...

XFogset and 3DSMax

In 3DSMax, I'm trying to add fog to my age, I added the BoxGizmo to the Command Panel and opened a Gizmo box in the viewer screen, added RegionSensor01, PythonFile01 and PageInfo01 to the Component Manager I downloaded Python 2.7.5, and have a copy of xFogSet.py.

Where do I go from here? In the ...
