Okay, Im going to add my goodbye to Andy's here.
Some time ago the news of Open Source Uru kinda drew me back here, kindling some interest in me again. However, the usual arguments hindering any sort of consensus have spoiled the fun for me again.

Re: Released source files for my ages
My pleasure.
If you do add a few things, I hope you'll let me see what you did with it.
But now you've made me curious for the stories your students came up with about those ages...
You wouldn't happen to have some lying around and email-worthy, would you? I'd love to read some.

As I was digging through some of my old uru files, I discovered a lot of unsorted source files for the ages I made a few years ago (2005 to 2008).
Since I stopped agewriting a while back due to RL issuses and stuff, I collected the souce into a few zip files and make them publicly available for ...

Re: Welcome to The Deep Island Shard!
Could you be more specific please? What error message did you get, and when did you try (inlcuding timezone)? Then I can look it up in the logfiles.

Re: Pulling the plug on ULM
Good,
do we need to port over the list of prefixes, or should we just keep the 10000-11000 range reserved? Personally I'd opt for keeping the range reserved, as there's a lot of prefixes that never saw the light of day, but were just registered in a block of 5 or 10.

Re: Pulling the plug on ULM
Okay, so we need some kind of migration plan for the sequence prefixes. I would suggest to make it read-only as soon as possible (linking writers who still want to reserve a prefix to above wiki page).
