Re: Installing Gehn Shard on OSX
Hmm. Recently did a re-install of Gehn under Wine. Now I am getting a message (that I've seen referred to on the forum elsewhere) that "PhysX is not installed or an older version is installed". Answering yes to the install new version?-option ("Game will exit if you click No") leads to what appears ...

Re: Guild of Writers stamp/seal design for [fan ages]
Janaba's not wrong: size will be an issue, and Cal's design is still very busy in comparison to the DRC stamp, for example (which, with its very reduced and simple iconicity, strikes me as very successful). Having said that, though, I think Cal's seal is along the right lines: it looks a bit ...

Re: Guild of Greeters
Ah yes, of course. Sorry. I was only thinking of the display of the names, not the opt out. The latter would indeed have to be a KI command, and that's difficult. Without it, I wouldn't be in favour of displaying the complete list either.

Re: Guild of Greeters
What about an imager somewhere with a list of everyone currently online? I understand that the imager in the classroom worked once; perhaps one could pick a hood, or create one for the purpose, and stream the list of current logins there. Alternatively … is there an imager in the city somewhere that ...

Re: The Pellet Drop
As an odd but weirdly intriguing historical footnote to all this, there was a radical splitter group, back in the day, called The League of Light , which argued that neither we nor the DRC knew enough about the algae to go messing about with their metabolisms or with the lake ecology in general ...

Re: Gehn.10 Live!
Just some quick praise for Gehn 10, another superb update (thanks guys!), and Tre'bivdil: very Zen, I like it very much. Have to say, seeing this is a real encouragement, esp. at the moment. Uru really does have a future, and you are proving it, build by build.

Re: Ignore = inaudible ... and invisible?
I'd be keen to see this picked up again too. My understanding is that a version of the code is formally complete and now requires a testing environment to see how it performs in practice. Would introducing it into an upcoming version of the Gehn client be a good idea? An alternative might be to ...

Re: Question
Ha! My personal theory was always that since "MOULa" is a sort-of pun on the first half of the golfing term "mulligan" (acc. to Wikipedia, a second chance for a player to have a go at something), "Gehn" was intended to supply the second half. Of course, no implication that Cyan, having only gone ...
