Re: Simplifying Blender
The short answer is no. Not only do the tools developed by the GoW to get the files into the game work only with Blender, but the free verson of Sketchup doesn't have a fraction of the higher level editing tools Blender does, and is completely incapable of producing the quality of age we're ...

Re: Subway Proposal
Vehicles and rides are always fun...
But they tend to be more so if you can perceive yourself moving, and the way you've described it so far, it reminds me more of the AP portal system than the boats. Perhaps the carriage would jostle slightly, or there might be some kind of animated texture ...

Thankfully for them, one of the rocks on their planet held a very special property. It was able to take in pure light and in response shoot out oxygen.
I don't think such a detailed explanation is necessary here. Not only does it ...

Age Inspiration: Beli Plast Stone Mushrooms
Came across this odd geological formation in Bulgaria. This would be pretty cool to see in-game, eh? (Yeah, because we just don't have nearly enough age ideas nowadays... )

Re: Short Sample
I really, really like that. You might try sustaining the pedal note in the opening, particularly between the 3rd and 4th notes, but other than that, I can't think of any criticisms. Granted, that doesn't mean a whole heck of a lot.

Re: Soundtrack piece
This is quite a nice piece. It grows on you; to be perfectly honest, I didn't really like it the first time around, but now that I listen to it again I can see a lot to like in it. I wish I could put my finger on just what it is exactly about the first part that I don't like. It seems a bit ...

Re: An Age Idea/Story
It's not a bad story, not bad at all. You may not be exactly reinventing the wheel here, but if it's good, why not reuse it? The story fits in quite well with the period; I was browsing the Archives the other day, and the time immediately preceding the Fall was a time of relaxation of traditional ...

Re: Semphetana: age in the sky
This looks really good! I'm looking forward to visiting already. One nitpicky point:
...I have come to call Semphetana. Or at least that is what our team could roughly translate from the strange lettering on the cover of the linking book. The writing is not even closely related to anything you ...

Re: Core Experiment : Core Theme
This looks really good! It's nice to see innovative new ideas being aired and seriously planned (especially after having just visited the desolation that is the GoMa forums these days... *sniff*). Just one comment I would make, since no one else seems to be making this point: I would steer very ...

Re: Age Idea - Corsus
Now that is a really, really good idea. I'm looking forward to reading what you come up with! One other idea: You might include some of the work we explorers have done towards understanding D'ni culture. (That could be put in the hallways between the sanctums or something.) For example, I seem to ...
