Re: Concept Art and Description
Even though everything I know about thermodynamics says this is utterly ridiculous...I still think it sounds like a really cool idea.

Re: Gnomon
The textures are mostly preliminary, and I don't have much real lighting (just three "suns" and GLSL shading to make me think I've got something substantial ). The tower turned out a little too Gira-like for my liking, so I may change that texture in particular. I like the way the catwalks turned ...

Gnomon
Having experienced a creative fizzle with my first Age attempt, Ahlnay, I'm dropping that one for a while and moving on to something for which the ideas flow more easily. Details here are subject to change...

Odd of behavior for a bot, but also odd behavior for a human. There's not even any advertising being done, just inane comments. I really don't understand.

Re: Python code for Boise de Vaux
I can't tell for sure, but it looks like all the trees in that screenshot are facing exactly the same direction (toward the center), which looks a little unrealistic. Maybe you could add something to your code to rotate each tree by a random amount?

Re: Importing Cyan models
Not having done this before, I'm not sure if this is a silly question or not, but would there be any conflicts if I wanted to use the Alcugs plugin to examine textures, and the GoW plugin to look at how the objects/meshes are structured? Is this even necessary? I'm just interested in taking a look ...

Re: Architectural modeling tips?
Incidentally, what's the best way to make a radially symmetrical building or object, like a lot of the areas in Gahreesen? Objects that aren't regular all the way around, but have overall symmetry? Making radially symmetric platforms with railings, like catwalk-type areas or balconies, also confuses ...

Haha, even if kahinj hadn't acted so suspicious, I think it would have been pretty obvious. He and CCNRep both used the malapropism "in that chase" instead of "in that case," within the same page of a topic. They both misuse commas and quotation marks in the same way, as well.

Re: Architectural modeling tips?
Thanks a lot, guys. Believe me, I'm quite good at just walking away when I can't think of anything. tachzusamm, that site looks like it could be enormously useful. I'm already subscribed to a couple tutorial makers on Youtube, too.
