Re: A little age in developement

I appreciate your point of view on the matter of sharing your work as you work on it. And the progress is fascinating (and encouraging/inspiring) indeed! I know myself, being a newcomer, was a little sad at the fact that not much seemed to be going on here. However, your project gives me hope! The ...

Re: A little age in developement

That looks splendid! Very nice work. I hope I can eventually write something half as good as that looks. Very nice!

Hey MusicallyInspired, I'd love to use this piece if you wouldn't mind? It fits nicely with a new area of Kehrahn that I am working on.

Yes, you can. :) If you need it in another ...

Re: A little age in developement

Realy a nice piece of music, thank you for offering it.

Unfortunately i will not use it, but undoubtely some others will be interested in it, because it has good quality.

As I said a few post earlier, SFX and Music for my ages will be made by Pojibonzai.
We agreed that some time ago , we share ...

Re: A little age in developement

Hi, there! Loving your work here. In fact, it inspired me so much I wrote a short Myst-like ambient piece of music. It may not be what you're looking for at all, but this is where it took me. I don't even know if you're thinking that far ahead yet, but I thought I'd share it with you all anyhow.

Re: Inspiration: images for Age writers

Wow! Great inspiring photos! Thank you for sharing! They will surely come in handy for my own age project (whether it gets ported to Uru or not, I'll still want to be making it).

Re: Exporting age from Blender, crashes Blender

That's exactly the tutorials I've been following! :) Some features have been changed and altered, but for the most part they still work perfectly and I can figure out the alternatives. Except for the Screw tool.

Sure, I'd love the older 2.49 videos as well!

Re: Exporting age from Blender, crashes Blender

Thanks, everybody. For now I'm continuing my learning of modeling in general, because I'm fairly new to it. But I'm a quick study. After I get the basics down I'll come back to Uru age-writing. I do have some neat ideas in mind, just need to work them out. I'm sad that I missed out on this whole ...

Re: Exporting age from Blender, crashes Blender

So I can't even use Blender 2.6 then? I see.

Regarding textures, one test age I created had a single texture on the plane and it was set in the materials outside of the UV editor. Collision is set as well (proxy). I also did a second test age with no texture whatsoever, just a coloured plane. Same ...

Exporting age from Blender, crashes Blender

Hey, everyone. I've decided to take up the task of creating an age world for Uru. Looking for a bit of help here as the scene seems to be mostly dead for Blender age-creating and the tutorials are grossly out of date. I've followed the PyPrp tutorial on the wiki here at GoW (translating what I could ...
