Re: Windows 8 running URU: CC or Deep Island
I see that I've applied "Windows 7" compatibility to Uru.exe, as well as running as administrator. The directory I run it from is "C:\Program Files (x86)\URU - Deep Island". Let me know if there's other info that could help you.

Re: Windows 8 running URU: CC or Deep Island
Hi guys,
I'm running a Deep Island client on a Windows 8 Pro machine, x86-64 (just ran it again to make sure all was good, and I was traipsing around Relto in no time). I'm pretty sure I'm using the GOG.com URU CC installation as a base, which might be significant.
Unfortunately I set it up a ...

Re: That's all, folks
As long as we're discussing porting, I was toying with the idea of importing new ages such as Minkata or Jalak into the old URU:CC as if they were custom made ones. I can imagine that (because there's no .pak file) it would involve opening them in blender and exporting them, then using ULM to bring ...

Re: That's all, folks
I agree with Nek'rahm. I think that the best thing for MOUL to survive right now is for the Guilds to come together. If we can build these communities together more tightly (because, aside from individual fansites and fora, and of course the MOUL forums, they are the closest we will have to the game ...

That's all, folks
Not much needs to be said. See the thread here:

Well, there's of course no reason why we need to split up. We can continue working with URU:CC, and holding out hope that MOUL will live again. It did it in 2003, and it can do it again.
Best of wishes to Cyan.

Re: Wanted: Total Blender Beginners to Test Tutorials
Well, I think an, ahem, "girlish" tutorial is much easier to read than one written like a history textbook. Because I am a Blender beginner (but not 3D modeling beginner) I will certainly give these a try to get more used to the interface, and the bubbliness of the writing will serve to keep me ...

Nek'rahm wrote:Lol... so what's the vault number?
I've done every number from 0-0-0 to 5-2-0 (working from far right 1-10, then adding 1 to middle after each 10 cycle, then adding 1 to left after each 10 cycle of both middle and right) and I'm getting bored XD
Well, if you read the journal...

Re: plant question
Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't the blades of grass in Noloben also independently modeled? I just mention it because that age is significantly larger than Relto.

"If we want to be recognized as a guild, we will have to be able to speak as a guild."
I agree with that statement.
So, I believe we don't want to be recognized by Cyan as a guild.
