Re: Installing Gehn Shard on OSX

Using Wineskin, the latest engine (1.7.24) and latest wrapper (2.6.0). Does it have to be 1.7.18 specifically?

I apparently did not have the .dll files present when I first tried the install, I have added them to windows/system32 and tried the installer again, no dice. It still does not prompt me ...

Re: Installing Gehn Shard on OSX

This installation method no longer appears to work, on 10.9.4 at least. The installer does not prompt me for a current MOULa installation, and does not appear to download any other files, either. Any way to manually add data files in, or something like that?

Or alternatively, anybody have a link to ...

Can't compile on OS X 10.6

I'm running OS X Snow Leopard on a new MacBook Pro (with a 64bit processor, fwiw). I've tried repeatedly to get libhsplasma up and running on my computer, but to no avail. When trying to build it, I run sudo ./configure, and it works fine, and sudo make goes fine until this it spits out this line ...

Re: EnvMap's for "shiny" floors.

Well, it's been a while since I looked myself, so I'm probably misremembering, but I'm pretty sure I remember seeing myself in the pool at the bottom of the cleft in sunny cleft (at the base of the bucket on vertical rails) at some point, and being really excited about it, because it meant we were ...

Re: EnvMap's for "shiny" floors.

Don't we have realtime reflections? In certain areas of MOUL you can see yourself in water. I know the puddles at the bottom of the sunny cleft have dynamic reflections, at the very least. :?

Re: Moons

More I read this thread the more it sounds like it is not possible to link to the moon without a way to get there beforehand. And as far as I know the D'ni had no rockets. Yet there is the Todelmer Pod as someone else mentioned so the question is how was a link added to it. It's up in space in a ...

Re: Moons

Its also possible to Link in to a moving object, as the whole Gahreesen Prison Links work in this way.

I could be wrong, but I think I remember reading somewhere that there was some kind of crazy synchronization necessary in order to link into the cells on Gahreesen and not get stuck in a wall ...
