Computers are way "bigger" now days.
Is there any hope that maybe you could do the "age updates" etc via multiple threads? Looks to be linear (single thread) with a lot of handshake. This would allow that round trip to be absorbed into additional threads.
I know it is a tiny thing.

Sorry if this is out of place, but I am currently trying to make it through Koh Dalan but ran into a issue of not getting a code when I solve the Zodiac room. Not sure if I missed a prerequisite or if things changed?

Me and my daughter are trying to solve this age, and we seem to be were we cannot proceed. Perhaps you would not mind to come see what we have and guide us a little bit? I do not want to say what we have found in this post.
