General debates and discussion about the Guild of Writers and Age creation

What if we held off on all contests for a while - like until the end of summer? Even though the work produced is amazing, I think we can all agree that they cause a great deal of stress for all involved. I'd hate for people to burn out on age creation before OSMOUL is up and running; I'd rather see people make ages when they feel inspired, not pressured.

Speaking of which: I'd also want to avoid having contests at the same time that the MOUL/plugin source code is made available. Once that happens, it'll be all about the code for months. [But given that Cyan is doing this in their spare time, it may be quite a while before we see anything. Even if it never comes out, I still think we all need a break from the contests.]
Can we rebuild it? Yes, we can - here's how.

Hey Robert.
I have a similar feeling, with DAWN just finished its just too soon for another contest, but summer, summer, oh wait, that's my winter, I don't really like the idea of leaving it too late before another one, but I agree with you, maybe around May we can organize another one, perhaps with DAWN trailing behind it.

As a side not, I have enrolled and start next week studying a paper for the first semester, and with that and work, even playing games will have to take a back seat, though I just want my Shell done, finito and polished.
