Prologue files

Postby Agenotfound » Wed Nov 11, 2009 12:09 pm

I am currently working on getting the wall to work in CC/TPotS, however i did not succeed yet in making everything work. - to keep it simple everything work but i cannot trigger the climbing and if it triggers it crashes.

I have reasons to believe that the Prologue wall is slightly different from the UU wall and that it may be the reason why it is not working in CC/TPotS using UU files.

So i'm asking if anyone would by chance have kept their prologue files.

to be more precise i am looking for the files that were downloaded during prologue into your ABM installation.

If anyone happen to have them please PM me ! a working wall in CC may soon become a reality ! :)

According to what Cyan told us when they released UU the client was basically their latest Prologue version. It had the Teledahn suntower offset bug to prove it, which had popped up during the last weeks of Prologue. ;) (this bug was only fixed in the last year of UU when Cyan was running D'mala)

indeed but as you know the python from CC is different for the wall than the one from UU (and it's supposed to be remains from Prologue). With the python from CC you cannot use the abort button and will not be linked to the maintainer's nexus. If that is different why not something else - and the wall changed in every version that was released ...

also this is pretty much the last thing to try so .... :?
