Journal?

Postby ardent red » Sat Mar 14, 2009 10:01 pm

I sent off a journal request to Kato at the beginning of the year, and another one recently, but I still don't have a journal. I don't blame Kato for not setting one up- I know how real life gets in the way- but could someone with the power to set up a journal do so for me?

Cheers

You might try sending it to Adam, or Bad. They might have access to the Guild of Writers Admin that could get you a journal added.

I wouldn't hold out hope about Kato. I noticed he hasn't posted since the beginning of January. Though he logged in yesterday so he probably did see your request. It is possible he could prove me wrong and set them up tomorrow but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Actually if I recall correctly Kato no longer admins the board. Send requests to Tsar Hoikas.

Well if he nolonger admins the board how come he still has the position? If you click on Team at the bottom it will show Kato as an admin.

Actually, it is all a plot against you personally! yeah, sure I know, it all looks sooooo innocent on the surface of things, but they just don't want you to have a journal! You might write something really cool we all might love and change the face of uru as we know it! Or maybe Kato is on a mad power trip to see just how desperate you might get. Probably you just got overlooked like so many others have recently. My guess, Kato is waiting for a magical number of requests worthy of his time and efforts to create them. Another guess is he is busy in real life or perhaps someone else was to take it over for him and they forgot to. Journals are reserved for us professional age writers with class and style. :o Hmm wonder how ended up with one then?

P.S. I am just being facetious with you. :P I haven't a clue!

Okay, I'll PM Tsar Hoikas. Thanks for the suggestion :)

Jahmen, I wouldn't be surprised if the LHC were somehow involved too. And giant transforming robots!

I've asked Hoikas about this and he says that Development-Journal creation are currently on hold. He's in the process of implementing a new system for them.
Currently getting some ink on my hands over at the Guild Of Ink-Makers (PyPRP2).

That's probably for the best. Can you imagine the nightmare the Development Journal would be to manage if all the journal requests (mine included) were approved. I think there are better systems out there. I look forward to seeing what develops.
