oh, using the version system for different languages isn't a really good idea I'm afraid.
Is is explicitly indented for succeeding versions.
Please try to have two parallel books/ages instead (like, "TaklaMakanDe" and "TaklaMakanEn" or something similar)

That'd ensure more compatibiltiy in the long run.

edit: I have removed the english version from the ULM. When I have time, I make a new book for it.

edit2: @Trylon: Now I need help.
I have preregistered a new book for the english version of TaklaMakan but I can't export the data to this new book.
I think the problem is, that the english and the german version have the same prefix-number.
When I want to export the datas to the english book, the ULM makes a new version in the german book.
What can I do?

I think the problem is with the apostrophe (and perhaps spaces) in the preregistration name.
The preregistration name should not be the full name, but more like a handle.

the handle for the current Takla Ma'kan is "TaklaMakan"
the handle for the english version should be like "TaklaMakanEn", without apostrophe.

ULM does not do anything with sequence prefixes so that should be no problem at all.

Oh, and in regard to the Jonae Permissions, There seems to be a bug in the server code that makes ownership changes. If I haven't fixed it this week, please bug me again.

Ok, that was an easy bugfix. Some idiot (me) wrote code that first adds the new owner to the book, before deleting all owners of the book.
I changed that now, and transferred the ownership.

Thank you for transfer the ownership to me, Trylon.
Now all of our german ages are downloadable with the ULM.

But the problem with the english version of TaklaMakan is the same.
I have changed the preregister-name to TaklaMakanEN, but when I install the english version of TaklaMakan in my ULM-TPots then the age will shown in the ULM as a corrupted german version, not as a personal age.
The filenames of the versions are the same.... is that the problem?
I don't know what I can do.

Now I could add the english version of TaklaMakan to the ULM (thanks a lot to Trylon).
All of the story, all books, some pictures and grafics you need to solve the puzzles are in english.

The server from where you can download both versions and the ULM in the new version RC5.5 work fine and the files are now compressed.

When the english version 3.0 (final version) is ready to download (I think in 4 weeks), I will make a post here.

You can download the new version 3 with the ULM.
This version includes both languages, german and english (thanks to a'moaca').

The download includes some TaklaMakan2 files. You will find out, why.

There appeared to be good progress on Taklamakan 2 - Beyond the time gate up till 2009 according to the Huru forum. Is this still an active project?
