That is probably part of the 3DS plugin and will let us have our avatars interact properly with any stuff we may incorporate into our ages. I see no reason why copies of the same animations should not be attachable to a copy of the avatar skeleton, used with a new automaton NPC, even though me may, as Lon suggests, not be able to create "real" custom avatars (which can do things like use animations loaded from disk).

Those monitoring "emote" submissions will have to do quite a bit of weighing for and against I expect - I wonder whether the Spaceballs presidential salute would make it through the process.. ;)
