Fraps is the most commonly used, but it's not free. There is a trial, but it puts a little watermark on the top of the video.

Version 1.9D is an older version of fraps, but it's freeware now and will not have the watermark.

I may also feature some screenshots in the movie involving UCC and images from other peoples projects. I will do the best I can to give credit to all the people to whom I recieved the screenshots from.

I was actually planning on making a video compilation of a bunch of fan ages, since I can't find a single video about any of them on youtube. I already have a few short videos, I'll send the better ones to you.

Also, I used fraps. It is the trial version, so the top of the screen says "www.fraps.com".

EDIT: Ahhh, the files are too big, I dunno if I can send them. :(
EDIT: Never mind, I sent it.

You can also look at hardware solutions.
For example, if your video card has an analog video or DVI output, you could capture that on a video camera.

Robbleagray, while I don't have an age to show off, I do want to help out in another way, motion graphics. This would be animated intros, outros, and bumpers. I've already started playing around with some stuff. :) Here's a shot of what I've been working on so far.

If your interested, PM me and we can talk about what might work.

That would be nice. I don't have a storyline truely for the trailer to be based off of so if anyone has some ideas just stick them out here. Otherwise, I shall continue the trailer I am presently working on (which is based off of the Search for the springs of kelbhet storyline).

I am also working on slideshow footage to show off some of the ages that I have downloaded and have really enjoyed. The present slideshow that I am working on are for the ages: Mew, and Fen.

If anyone knows who made these ages please state so, so that I may mention them as the age creators in the credits. :)
