I sorta agree that should not have an 'official' recommendation, however we should present the various possibilities in a clear manner to new comers.

Good points raised here. Maybe we could have the options and then a recommendation. However, unlike saying "We the GoW thing this is best!" we make it a little bit like the surgeon-general's warning on alcoholic beverages: "The Councilor of Artistic direction thinks it's best to start with this.". Hey, isn't my job to endorse things and take the fall for them. :P ;)
Currently getting some ink on my hands over at the Guild Of Ink-Makers (PyPRP2).

For reference, all other myst-related fan forums that refer to you guys to find instructions on fan ages link to your forums, not your wiki or your main page.

I apologize that I didn't even notice the wiki. I found the faq (which is for how to use this style of fourms in general) and scoured all the subforums, but somehow in my head the wiki equated information on actual building, like the tool forums are, so I didn't search it. Thank you for pointing it out.

By the way, the link to wiki.guildofwriters.com on the top of the GoW main page does not work (at least for me). I have to manually enter the http://www.guildofwriters.com/wiki address in order to view it... but maybe the random person that enters the website for the first time will simply assume that the wiki is broken.

Indeed, looking at it this way, the Wiki link is hardly noticeable. Since phpBB3 can add links in the forums list, what about a link to the Wiki above the "News" group of forums, saying that this is where everyone should look for information before asking in the forums?
I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.

Why not sticky this thread and any information(links and such) can go here. maybe rename in and clean things up some.
