It's a very nice place ^_^ I need to take a look at what the D'ni text says at some point.

My only issues with it is that a. the lake water is a tad bright given current lake light levels. b. would be nice if there was something to do other than wonder around, perhaps read some books or something?

@Egon, you might want to check the PassIndex which is under the Object button in blender.

Well, yes, to me it is too bright as well, but I just couldn't make it darker :) Setting up water is really complicated in Plasma.
As to some interactive bits, yes, I plan to expand the area, though I think it's much more interesting to tell the story of the place without describing it explicitly in a journal, to let the explorers to find everything by themselves. When you see an age for the first time and there are cones, tents and journals, it feels more like a museum, the exposition set for you by someone. It lacks the sense of exploration, of finding a place never seen before.

It looks very cool, but Drizzle doesn't seem to think it's available for download. I cry?

The Uam server changed locations, as the message indicates. You can use Drizzle27, which has new Url as default, or change it manually by clicking on "Change Server..." and entering http://dusty.homeunix.net/uru-ages/ Sorry for the inconvenience!

Rustee, this is awesome. This is a different architecture, very organic. There isn't a single right angle in the whole structure. One feels this is true D'Ni architecture, grand and bold. What is it? It looks like the residence of some D'Ni higher-up, priest or guildmaster.

As someone said, you just raised the bar.

Lighting is great, sounds and music too. Surroundings, with animated fog texture, give a great feeling of the Cavern.
There is a minor problem with 3rd-person camera in the entrance tunnel.

I don't see any z-fighting, just a nice specularity on the tiles, like the MOUL version of K'Veer, which maybe cause problems on some video cards? On the other hand, this is one of the very few fan Ages that does NOT cause frequent crashes of my video driver.

The entries for this contest are all great, I'm so glad I'm not a judge!

Thank you Chacal! :) The place indeed was created for high rank guild officials, and I will try to give enough hints in future updates for the explorers to find out what was the purpose of this location (I hope you're following this random IC/OOC switching :) ).

For the music I thank Ben Powell again, and I just found that he is a fan of Myst series too! So I'm looking forward for nice collaboration.

Yes, the entrance camera misbehaves when you try to look back. Ideally, this area should force 1st person view, but doing so gave even worse results. I think I have the solution in my mind, so I will correct that in the update.

With about a day left to go, I've come to realize that I'm not going to finish my entry in time for submission I'm afraid. I'm just not done with it, and it will be at least 2 more weeks to get finished.

Congrats to everyone who were able to get their entries in, they are some good looking work.
