I like your age very much. Walking through it the sounds brought back many memories. ;) The fog looks very good, it's nice how it hides where you can go. I also like the music.

Offline everything worked perfect. But I had some problems on the UAM Shard.

Weird no fog region at all? Well their are five fog regions altogether one encompassing the maze three in the tunnel and one in the room. From the main area to the room I have the densities set 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 so the fog becomes less and less as you walk toward the room. I have noticed on the UAM shard when you walk into the fog region with #4 density the fog becomes visible like mentioned above but when linking into the fog region on the UAM shard the fog is not visible until you hit another fog region. Unfortunately the only thing I know about servers is that its a big box with a key board and screen. I might be able to figure out a way to fix it on my end by making it so you walk in to the first fog region from below it. but as far as the server end is concerned I actually know more about theoretical astrophysics :D So im no help their.

Any help would be more then welcome

I hate to be the one telling you this, but most servers have neither.

First of all Karkadann, I want to tell you that your new age is a marvel :).

It is a "back-to-the-basics" puzzle age and I was glad to have kept my notes about...oh well, I won't tell more about this subject ;)

I already figured out 2 nice shortcuts putting down markers and seeing "shortcut routes" along the way, no cheating involves, I swear :) .

For the fog issue, I thought that it was intended to fool the explorer because it became more and more dense as I was in your age, I was there since 30 minutes fooling around with the big ball and I received a phone call, so  , I stayed 2 hours and half, and after about 1 hour I was in a all foggy age. I was playing it on UAM Shard.

Here is a picture that I took there:

If you pay attention, you see that Annabelle-Sophie is wondering too ;) what she is doing up there LOL.

Thanks people, it turned out far better then I had expected, and then the music made all the difference. I was thinking of expanding it from the small room

But I can't seem to get the Friction setting on terrain unstuck in the plazma plugins in max

I played the Age yesterday. I really enjoyed it, but without the fog it was too easy. The fog needs to be present when linking in for maximum effect other than that, the Age was awesome, especially the music (though I wish there was more reward than a barely visibly MYST book that doesn't work). Five out of five stars!

Thanks. the myst book was suppose to have fallen in from the cleft above. I don't know enough about pyton yet but I would like to make the Myst book link to a version of Myst Island

I could pack up the Max file with the textures if someone else has some ideas, we could kick around on this thread if your into a community project. :D
My skills in Max are still limited, for instance I could not figure out how to make the arches in Max so I imported them from AutoCad
and remember its still the first version
