Dr Crisger wrote:RAWA is a wondeful man and a great asset to the community. He will be a excellent community manager and will do all we need in that regard. Thanks for your patience Jamey with the negative posters here, we could do without them and do just fine. The internet and the virtual universe has many other worlds. You should all be ashamed of yourselves for panning Cyan who has treated us fairly and with great honour all the years i have been here.

Welcome RAWA and Shorah.

Troll troll troll.

Doing.. what? Seriously, anyone who reads that can tell how ambiguous that is, so before you start pointing fingers saying that he's saying we could do without your work with age building, pyprp, ect., lets take a minute and hear what exactly he means. I can't speak for Crisger, but I'm sure he's referring to the negativity unjustified assumptions following the initial announcement (a few of which I listed in my last response).

Also Chacal I agree with you there, his actions will have to speak for themselves.

Flame bait. Uses a lot of words to say nothing.

Jamey wrote:BAD, I think you are taking this way out of proportion. I think what CrisGer meant to say was that we need to be more optimistic. ;)

Do I, personally, want all these people you mentioned to leave? No, Not at all, I'm very grateful to everyone for making the tools that I, and many other people use. They are very helpful with age creation.

Chacal wrote:I think what this shows is, RAWA is welcome, but he will have to convince us by his actions that things have changed at Cyan.

I believe I understand Chacal's viewpoint here, which I'm sure quite a few of us share. RAWA has been quiet before he became community manager, and it will be tough to break that mold for some people.

Defending a troll.

Let us assume that everyone who posts here (besides the spammers) have passed Kindergarten and can read very simple English. It is a perquisite to registering on this forum, after all.

Wait... So Crisger defends RAWA, and criticizes the negativity, and now he's a troll all of a sudden? Could you please explain how that works, because I'm just not seeing it.

The red is trolling. Do I need to distill it further?

Um, an explanation would suffice.

In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response[1] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

This is the wiki definition of troll. I do not see how Crisger's post fits that description.

Flame bait. Uses a lot of words to say nothing.

I'm saying that all three of you don't know what he means when he says
do without them and do just fine

and that saying that he's saying he wants you to leave the guild, or that we don't need any work on pyrprp or age creation is are assumptions.

So RELAX.. and wait for crisger to elaberate and what he said.

Secondly.. I'm trying to have intellectual debate here and you're acting completely childish.
