I have nothing else in the Python folder than "journal.pak", "python.pak" and "system" files . I have two files "journal" and "plasma" but both are empty. Diafero (or anybody else), do you know what Lontavh means with "D'mala patches" ? Are they different than the UU patches found in Deep Island's uru-tools ? It's really frustrating to be blocked even though I have installed UU just to climb the wall of Gahreseen... :lol: :lol:

D'mala was he UU Shard run by Cyan. Via its dataserver, it shipped some updates on top of the latest UU patch (which, as far as I know, is the one I uploaded to the URL you used). However, the only version of those updates I ever got was an invalid pak file that no tool could open and that would cause all Python to stop working in Uru...

Slightly confused. ABM means the original URU install with the big picture of Relto on it's box, and CC either means adding the expansion pack in the white box with the "Hidden Ladder" room door, or by installing CC from Steam or in the white box with lots of pictures (sorry, just wanted to deliver an accurate description).

Also, I located Wall patch files in my Deep Island install. Give me about an hour to test.

EDIT: YES! I've located all 32 PRP files required to climb the Wall (climb animations, physics, even the code for the room)! I've also found the music for the room. If we can unlock those suit machines, I bet these files can repair it once and for all!

:shock: The ki light can work ? After Drizzle conversion of the MOULa file, I just get the "broken" machine, with sparks falling on the floor. Wait, did you set the SDL for the machine to 2 or 3 instead of 1 ?

Tangara, this is not a problem at all. The first version of Uru I played was Ages Beyond Myst. In this version, you couldn't use the KI. It only opened the doors but no more. There wasn't any link to the City, as this is in To D'ni. But UU online was a TD version (in some kind of way). So everything is normal. About Teledahn's sun, this is a problem with UU offline. You can try to see as Diafero said, but this version should be used only for the Wall if you don't want to use UU files to tweek CC (it was used to have the heek and the webcam in the hood, right ? This also helped a lot to have a working Offline-KI). So, the best way is to use it strictly for the Wall and keep CC and DI for other game.

I think we have already tested everything :( . We shouldn't be able to fix it more than this version. Except if you find the way to mix the two UruExplorer :lol: Or make a python file, and we're again in all the anim triggering troubles... Even though the anim themselves are working right...

Has anyone tried putting these files in an install with the suit machine files? We should have everything we need. We just have to figure out a way to implement it.

I guess it was working on Until Uru Shards, but CC Shards are not the same. The Wall and CC are not compatible as long as we don't have two melted UruExplorer or a new python file for the Wall. Other CC things works with the UruExplorer, as Ahnonay quabs, Delin/Tsogal doors, plus the Plasma version of PRP files.

@Tangara: sorry, I didn't used an UU patch to test what was the problem with your install... but now it is working, fortunately.


Just re-tested to climb the Wall in MOULa (thanks to Annabelle for showing us the way to climb there !). It crashes exactly as if you have the MOUL file converted in CC.
Hey, MOULa's client doesn't have the PtClimbingWallMsg() in Plasma.py...
