The RAD contest is about to begin, put on your thinking caps and start building.

Trylon will be setting up a contest version of ULM for you to upload your entry, after the deadline the maintainers will have a week to deliberate which Age is the Best in terms of,

1) Content
2) Creativity
3) Stability
4) Quality
5) Functionality
6) Aesthetics

The contest is open for everyone, and if you want to use this time to build your shell for Ahra Pahts you can do, in fact its encouraged.

You have 2 weeks to submit your entry which should be done by midday 9th March 2008 PST

For the winner, your Age will be transferred to the public UL library and we will help you to obtain an FCAL (Fan Creation License)

Full rules are in the PDF document below

Most importantly,

Have fun! :)

If we are to disemenate the ages for the writers and maintainers, then perhaps the login function proposal for ULM would be ideal, with the winner having his/hers get moved to the public section of ULM?

If we are to do this competition, when would you like the deadline to be?
Eg Sunday 2nd week of March?

I don't think that the functionality of ULM will be ready before that date, but It's a finde date by me.
(Since I will be entering the competition, that leaves less time to spend on ULM ;) )

If we can't use ULM (currently a public library) then we have to host the zip file ourselves and link it here or the maintainers or both?

Once thats sorted I can get started writing up the rules of engagement and get started.

Choice,
I know you and I will have a go, i'm just wondering whether it might be a good idea to let it be open ie not knowing how many want to do it and just not worry about the total number of people this time.

Although it would be nice if more people could comment on this topic
