Linking Rules Question

I have a question. What IC rules do we follow for Linking? Especially now.

Do we stick to the RAWA rules of linking? IE, can only link with something you can take one step with, no linking point to point within an Age, etc.

Let's face it, making our own Age we can mess with these, but I'd like some guidance here on how others feel about this.

Personally I'd stick with the official RAWA rules, just to be safe. It's not like these are big restrictions anyway. The only thing (IMO) that could be usefull would be to do point-to-point link whithin an Age, but even that can be circumvented easily with a Nexus-like system.

Hats off to the developer who can figure out how to follow that rule! URU inventory system, anyone?

I'd stick with them for now, for the IC reason that we're presumably working from classical D'ni teaching materials rather than Yeeshanic stuff.

Just remember, they're more like guidelines...(and yes, I will trot out that quote at the slightest provocation!)

Is there someplace where the RAWA Linking Rules are listed? If not, I'd like to get them typed up for the GoMa so they can use them while bug testing.

Summary: I like the wingrove-style linking rules better.
