other than Blender, what other tools can be used to make ages to go on ULM and import into Uru CC?

None. You can use other modeling software to build objects that you can import into Blender though.

So technically you could just model everything outside of blender, import it to blender and just move em into position :P

Right?

3DSMax is an example. The problem is, most of the other programs are expensive. That's the reason we're using Blender: its free. :)

Wings3D is free as is the trial version of Bryce, but still you have to export your models and import them into Blender.

Don't worry about how long it takes to learn Blender, it took me 6 months, and look at my shell (119), and I am still learning more intrinsicies of the interface.

So even with 6 months, and comfortable with basic scaling, rotation, duplication, and vertex editing, along with basic lighting and textures, Blender has so much more to it.

Er, are you asking if you can use something OTHER than Blender?

Or were you asking what ELSE in ADDITION to Blender do you need? If you look at our tutorial wiki, it will tell you exactly what programs you need to start making Ages.

Ok guys, thx for the help.

I'm going to keep working with Blender, but I'm also going to keep at what I do best, making textures and sound design for ages.

Again, thanks for the help :)
