MOUL Nexus Age

Okay, I got asked quite a bit from people on the Maintainers forum about how to link into the MOUL Ages once they had been converted (by the way, Mustard Jeep completed making a mod of the Drizzle.jar file. You can now just run it, and tell it where the files are, and where the converted ones go, so no having to use netbean to change the java script anymore).

As Trylon pointed out, you can just edit the ULMLinkBook.inf file and add the Ages to your book shelf, but there were people hesitant about doing that.

So I went ahead and slapped together a little Nexus Age for now. You can download it via the ULM, it's called Andy_Nexus.

Now, this Age contains 13 linking books to:

Minkata
Jalak
Negliahn
Payifen
Dereno
Tsogal
Delin
Tetsonot
Greeters Pub
Cartographers Pub
Maintainers Pub
Writers Pub
Messengers Pub

If you have not converted any of those Ages, you won't link there. You don't have to convert them all, the linking book for the AGe you have not converted simply won't work.

Also, please note, this little Nexus Age I made contains NO, I repeat, NO MOUL game files, textures or meshes.

Also please note, there are some people on here that have been talking about getting together to do what I just did. Please continue to do so! This was just a Band-Aid for now. A rope bridge if you like. You guys can still go out and make the really beautiful suspension bridge. I just did this to help people.

heheh....I had thought about throwing in a loud wind sound too, to match the moving clouds, but thought it would be annoying to people.

Really, it is a Band-Aid Age.....I had really hoped that the group of people that were talking about making a really, REALLY good looking nexus had taken that ball I came up with and run with it.
But instead it seems that the people talking about it have just lost interest, don't have the time, or have run off from this forum.

Ah well. If I ever have time, I could try making a much better looking one, but no promises right now, as I still have to get Zephyr finished up, and then I've got my oldest daugher, her husband and their daughter moving up here in a month and I have to get everything ready for them. So just not enough hours in the day I guess. We'll see.

And who exactly might those people be? Or do you just enjoy posting purposefully inflammatory comments?

I'll check the ulm database and make sure it lists the file. If you downloaded a right away, your .pak file maybe missing as I forgot to upload it! Duh!
I did fix that mistake yesterday, so try downloading it again.

Yep that's me.....absent-minded! :D

Andy - "Hey dudes! I just got done with a really great Age! Try it out!"

Everyone - "Great! But where are the files?"

Andy - "Files?"

Just wanted to let y'all know that the MOUL Nexus Age has been upgraded by Boblishman. He did some texture and lighting work, and I'm sure you'll agree he made my "Band_Aid" look a lot prettier than what I had slapped together! :D
Just re-download it via the ULM to get the new version.

Boblishman said that if any of you would like to put a model in of some sort (something with a middle ages theme) that he'll texture it and put it in, and include a journal that gives credit to you for your model.

Here's a screen shot:
