Guild of Writers

While we continue to discuss leadership stuff.. here's something of a little lighter nature.

The Maintainers are organizing a photo shoot of a bunch of Maintainer supporters wearing their Guild shirts in the Maintainer Pub, and later in Gahreesen. I think it's a really cool idea. Does anybody want to do that for the Writers as well? If so, where else can we take some shots? We don't have as obvious a backdrop as Gahreesen.

I think pictures from this sort of thing would be really cool to post around the website and such. If people want to do this, I'll contact the Maintainers and ask them who they're commissioning as a photographer.. and we'll plan a date for it.

Yes, if that doesn't make me lose my Nexus link to the Writer's pub (I'm afraid I didn't follow the guild pubs episode too well).

Well we'll hold it in the Writer's Pub, and one other place out of the other Ages (linking to the same person's Relto).. so there shouldn't be any problems of the sort.

I totally misread your first post. I thought you suggested going to the Maintainers photo shoot.

Footnote: you can switch Guild shirts as often as you like, and that switches which Guild pub is linked in your nexus.

Maybe if you're looking for another location, it could be the library in the city? I dunno - writing, books, library...

I like the idea.

How about K'veer?

K'veer would make a gorgeous backdrop and would be even easier, since it's public. The library would be nice too.. both are worth looking into.

Library would be a logical choice, but it is too dark for a good shot. K'veer has the same problem because of the reflective floors, I see the Age alright but avatars are very dark. Or maybe it's just my graphic settings.
