Tomahna, the Cleft, the Great Shaft...wait?

Is it just me... or does Tomahna, the Cleft and the Great Shaft all take place in the same Earth Age within a few feet/miles of eachother?

Um... if that's the case... couldn't Cyan/Us do Chains of Ages?

Think of Direbo from Myst V... or moreso like Riven

Different Ages.. linked together by different sections of a puzzle which must be unlocked. After doing so, the ages are connected into one... with a centrilized area open for everyone to go to and chat.

So... to sum it up...

Riven but with all the islands as different Ages.
Tie Em together.
Have a city/meeting place open up once the Ages ARE connected.
Make an elaborate puzzle where certain Ages must be linked to open other ones (ex. Entering Jungle Island from Plateau Island to access Gehn's Tower/Fire Marble Dome)

Tomahna, The Great Shaft, and the Cleft, are indeed all a part of Earth.

Also the whole entire D'ni Cavern is on Earth. Rather under Earth.

I like this idea, and I would love to explore a giant age as individual small areas first, then as one.

I think the map by the pod Age books seems to imply all the pod Ages are on one "planet", too.

Ooooh I like this. Imagine a new explorer gets up the great shaft into the crater, climbs out of it and finds himself back at the cleft! Suddenly, light!
